American Marketing Association

American Marketing Association shall foster scientific study and research in the field of marketing, foster an environment to develop leadership skills in the field of marketing and develop sound thinking in marketing theory and more exact knowledge and definition of marketing.


Literacy Leaders

Literacy Leaders is the Grand Canyon University student affiliation to the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE). We recognize the power words have to shape our worlds. As aspiring teachers, English majors, writers, and advocates for literacy, we aim to advance our skills and encourage one another towards our goals while developing a professional network to promote English language arts in the community


National Association of Teachers of Singing (S-NATS)

The Student National Association of Teachers of Singing, Grand Canyon- College of Fine arts and production music department chapter is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge about National Association of Teachers of Singing, to encourage the highest standards of the vocal art, to further the knowledge to students and awareness of scholarship, knowledge of vocal pedagogy, skills of performance, as well as giving and receiving professional information that is accessible to passionate students who intend to teach singing.

Colangelo Scholars

Colangelo Scholars is a learning community exclusive to students in the Honors College who are pursuing a degree within the Colangelo College of Business. Students who meet the aforementioned criteria are automatically members, and do not need to sign up to join! Colangelo Scholars will provide members with great exposure to various projects and networking opportunities outside of the classroom that can significantly enhance members’ personal and professional development!


Alpha Chi National Honors Society

The Alpha Chi National Honors Society Chapter at Grand Canyon University was established in 1971. Alpha Chi is a coeducational academic honor society and a member of the Association of College Honor Societies. Our purpose has been to promote academic excellence and exemplary character among college and university students and to honor those who achieve such distinction, accepting only students who place in the top ten percent of their class from all academic disciplines.

The Honors STEMists seeks to build community among the honors students studying within the health care, technology, engineering and computer science fields. The College of Science, Engineering and Technology, CSET and CONHCP faculty and staff of the Honors College work together to provide resources, unique learning experiences, networking opportunities and more to those looking to grow in their personal and professional development within these fields. Canyon Counselors

At Canyon Counselors Club, our mission is to prepare counselors to excel across education, leadership, and community service. Undergraduate students in addiction counseling program are encouraged to join; however, we are open to all undergraduate students. we participate in events such as the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) walk and also volunteer at the Dream Center and GCU Campus activities.

Collegiate DECA

GCU collegiate DECA is an international association where students can compete and grow in marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, and hospitality.

We offer students the chance to be involved with head and neck dissection, events hosted by local dental schools, speaker events with different dental specialists and admission counselors, and opportunities to connect with other Pre-Dental students at GCU.

The GCU Finance and Economics Club is committed to empowering the student body with educational opportunities and real world application in the areas of finance and economics. The club aims to provide learning experiences centered on Christian business values which will equip young professionals with relevant skills and the ability to utilize them in an ethical manner.

GCU Occupational Therapy Club

The GCU Occupational Therapy Club is an on-campus student group that is open to all. Our objective is to bring like-minded people together in order to create a supportive community of aspiring occupational therapists. The students in this community assist each other in navigating a path to graduate school. We provide information on all things OT; answering any questions students may have, providing shadowing and volunteering opportunities , and creating a social platform where students can encourage each other and lean on one another for help and support.

GCU Physical Therapy Club

The mission of the GCU Physical Therapy Club is to enrich the community of physical therapy students and students interested in physical therapy through community and service. The GCU Physical Therapy Club seeks to enrich the student experience at Grand Canyon University by providing service and networking opportunities associated with physical therapy. The GCU Physical Therapy Club will provide students to learn more about physical therapy field, and be prepared for the process of trying to get into physical therapy school.

GCU Speech and Debate

The speech and debate team competes in three different speech events, including impromptu, persuasive information and interpretation of literature. The two different types of debate include prepared debate, which is more parliamentary and heavily researched with topics stemming from current events. Limited preparation focuses on more real-world application and values-based debating. Competing may involve speaking without memorization or preparation, presenting a practiced speech related to the audience and debating practiced discussions of ideas.

Sports Business Club

The GCU Sports Business Club provides a platform for students to gain insight, experiences and opportunities in the field of sports business. The GCU Sports Business Club will provide guest speakers, experiential learning, club meetings, leadership networking, field trips and special events!

Innovative Computing

The Innovative Computing Club’s mission is to celebrate and promote interest and innovation in every field of technology. Our goal is to cultivate an environment for like-minded students to pursue their interests and share their passions by engaging with others in projects, learning, and community. We aim to prepare students for highly successful careers in the technology industry by supplying opportunities to gain industry connections and leadership experience. We encourage technological innovation and work to expose our members to diverse disciplines. Additionally, we strive to use our knowledge to provide excellent service within our local community

Lopes Justice Society

The Lopes Justice Society (Law Enforcement Club) at Grand Canyon University aims to equip members with the necessary knowledge and abilities required to succeed in future careers in law enforcement or related fields (e.g. forensic science, psychology, etc.).

Mock Trial Team

Everyone is welcome to join the team! A tryout is required. Those take place in the fall semester. We complete at local and regional competitions and host high school competitions as well. The mock trial team invests in its members! Joining our team would help build one’s public speaking and presentation skills, critical thought, and so much more! This team is built to help all who comes in contact with it. The mock trial is a studious club that competes in academically rigorous competitions. The club specializes in the field of law, those looking to attend law school and become practicing attorneys will have an edge over their competitors in the future! We look forward to having you on our team!

Pre-PA (Physicians Asisstant)

This club has been to designed to serve the students that are currently enrolled in the Pre-Physician Asisstant programs at GCU. The mission of this clubs is to provide a number of different connections with internship programs, masters programs, and other healthcare mentors. The officers of the program will ensure that the students are more preapered for the application process by encouraging appointments with PA representatives. the club members will also be informed about different tours that are being provided on different campuses throughout Arizona, and can be connected with representatives at those campuses.

Pre Pharmacy Club

Grand Canyon University’s Pre-Pharmacy Club is an organization that provides a community for students to become educated and exposed all fields of pharmaceutical careers.

PreMed Journal Club

The Pre-med club helps members gain necessary skills for the MCAT, medical school, and research. Specifically, the goal is to make innovative thinkers, teach compassion through volunteering, gain experience via shadowing, and supplement education thus creating a well-rounded applicant.

Pre-Vet Club

The focus of the Pre-Vet Club is to provide GCU students with the opportunity to learn more about veterinary medicine. We are a pre-health club that strives to ensure that members are gaining valuable experiences that contribute to making them competitive students and future animal care providers. Our meetings primarily include hands-on lessons to practice valuable skills and techniques that are used in veterinary hospitals.

Psychology Club

The goal and purpose of the GCU Psychology club is to be a great resource for students who are interested in expanding their understanding of the human mind, give students a complete view of the world of psychology and encourage the skill of networking. The club focuses on the practical application of the theories learned in class. This is achieved by bringing in speakers from all areas of psychology and watching psychology based movies. We participate in other activities such as group volunteering. Above all else, Psychology club exists to encourage its members to embrace the opportunity available to them and to expand their knowledge on the subject of psychology.

Students building positive relationships within and outside of the GCU community while engaging in opportunities to grow personally and professionally in order to become more competent global citizens.

Mission Statement: “Through the application of servant leadership and professional development, the Canyon Business Club will build leaders who are committed to excellence, ethical integrity within the workplace, and who will lead and inspire others”.

GCU Sports Medicine Club

To develop leadership qualities, the GCU Sports Medicine Club establishes a strong sense of community within the healthcare professions such as athletic training, exercise science, and pre-physical therapy. The GCU Sports Medicine Club establishes mentorship among individuals at any level pursing any sports medicine related degree, enhancing effective communication skills. The GCU Sports Medicine Club provides its members with professional development opportunities that will assist in reaching personal and career goals thus creating critical thinkers.

To help the students of GCU gather knowledge of the hospitality industry and workforce through exposure to industry companies, on campus experience, networking opportunities, and community outreach. Observe and inform hospitality students on new advancements in hospitality. Informing students of social and career opportunities. Best Buddies is a non-profit organization to support individuals with disabilities. It’s a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for 1:1 friendships, integrated employment and leadership and development for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Big Lopes, Lil’ Lopes

Big Lope, Lil Lope provides college students with opportunities to spend time together and grow academically, professionally, and socially. By spending time with each other and helping everyone have a successful year, we create a family-like atmosphere where we can feel comfortable with one another. This environment creates a safe space that students can use to ask for homework help, work through roommate conflicts, talk about personal struggles, or share fun details about a great week. While we always have a really fun time together, our main purpose is to build community within Early Childhood Education. There are many tasks that must be done to be successful in the education major and Big Lope, Lil Lope is here to help everyone be successful and take away some of those stresses.

GCU Love your Melon

Love your melon is an apparel brand dedicated to giving a hat to every child battling cancer in America as well as supporting nonprofit organizations who lead the fight against pediatric cancer. Love your Melon’s Campus crew members raise awareness for pediatric cancer, represent the brand through promotional events and dress up as superheroes to deliver beanies to children battling cancer.

Her Campus

Her Campus GCU is a platform/online magazine for the woman on campus. This club gives woman a voice/platform for articles. This Club also host events that pertain to women.

Student Wellness and Health Association (SWAHA)

The mission of the GCU Student Wellness and Health Association is to help guide exercise science majors with networking opportunities in their field of study as well as help build personal and professional relationships within and outside of the GCU community. A goal is to provide mentorship and resources to obtain external professional fitness, wellness and strength and conditioning credentials and certifications. The club will encourage a social environment while promoting the wellness and health of oneself and others.


African Student Association

The mission of this club is to foster friendship and community amongst Africans at Grand Canyon University. This club also aims to provide an open space in order to discuss issues pertaining to Africa as well as educate Grand Canyon University students on the history and different culture practices that take place in different countries.

Hawaii Club

Our mission is to provide a community and network of support for students coming from the islands of Hawaii to enrich their college experience at GCU, and to share and educate GCU’s student body on the different cultures and traditions of Polynesia. Empower students from Polynesia with the opportunity to develop the tools and skills they need to secede at GCU and beyond. Our mission to keep us out-of-state students united and ground in our academics, values and most importantly our culture. We hope to share and educate our fellow students about the Aloha spirit and what is means to be Polynesian.

International Club

The International Club at GCU encourages interaction and involvement among international students and the larger student body. We strive to share with GCU’s community about our diverse cultural backgrounds and unique perspectives to create a friendly and fun learning environment.

Latino Student Union

Our mission is to build upon the greater assets of the Latino community, family, culture and passion assets that our community holds and needs to be applied to our daily lives. We want to do just that and form a group of Latinos that share love, food, music, language, dreams and more. The vision is to meet the dream that our ancestors sacrificed so much for. The Club is a social club that focuses on small talks about topics such as diversity, language, culture, etc. we meet to expose to a deficit based social narrative of the Latin community.

Nations of Indigenous Cultures Club (N.I.C.C.)

We plan to help tribal students better connect with one another. We also want to create a club for those who come from a small background and support them with any personal problems they are experiencing. This club will be the support you need with academics, mental health, etc. we want to bring more diversity with Native American Students.


Biblical Theology Club

The Biblical Theology Club exists to promote the biblical and theological literacy among the GCU student body. The goal is a proper understanding God and his Word that will manifest itself in both loving God and loving others. The biblical theology club seeks to advance the Gospel through proper worship and missions.

Canyon Inclusive

Canyon Inclusive seeks to build relationship between GCU students and local churches in their disability programs. We desire to support and minister to individuals with disabilities in the church setting.

Dead Theologians Society

Dead Theologians Society seeks to engage students in meaningful thought about great historical leaders, preachers, missionaries, and theologians in church history, discuss what can be learned from them, and encourage us to imitate their faith. Weekly meetings are held Fridays from 11:15am-12:15pm in 19-102.

GCU Pro Life Club is a chapter of Students for Life of America and partners with colleges and universities in Arizona and local 1st Way Pregnancy Center and Arizona Right To Life.

SDEO aims to create a nurturing and productive environment for future dance educators and dance enthusiasts alike. Our club is the Student Dance Education Organization, we are a dance club that provides dance opportunities for students at GCU who are inspired by movement.

Hip-Hop Club

Together, we will establish a greater knowledge and awareness of hip-hop as a culture. The club’s sole purpose is to educate and help its members understand the four elements that combine to create hip-hop.

Canyon Crypto Club

The Canyon Crypto Club aims to make GCU the model of institutionalized blockchain technology. We coordinate the effort of the community to understand blockchan technology, how to use it safely and ethically, and note the technological requirements to do so.

D.R.E.A.M. Club

The D.R.E.A.M. club is a sisterhood for Ladies who are on ground students who have a passion for unity and dance. The DREAM club promotes sisterhood, high education, fitness and sassy majorite dancing. We perform on and off campus at different events. It is not mandatory to dance but to it is mandatory to be an active member of the sisterhood. So Ladies, if you are passionate about the sorority life, this is the club for you!

Inspire Yourself. Inspire Others.” GCU’s Friends of the Pen embraces the idea of artistry with purpose: Breathe life into people through community and creation. We believe in creating characters and embracing our own characters – we want others to know that they are not alone. Our club is one of acceptance and community; we encourage you to seek and fulfill your personal goals while you volunteer and build community with us through fun activities like hiking, eating together, attending poetry nights and playing board games! To build a close-knit community of individuals who would enjoy a unique form of exercise as well as building relationships between the members. The Vision of Modern Board gamers Guild (MBG) is to provide a wholesome, exciting, and relational environment that provides students with opportunities to build friendships and community during their time at GCU. Mission Statement: SAGA is a group of GCU students who meet to discuss topics relating to sexuality, gender, and identity. The meetings encourage honest and open conversations from various perspectives, including the university’s Christian mission and ethical positions, in order to build a supportive and safe community environment.

The GCU Bass Fishing club exist to introduce students to the ever growing sport of collegiate bass fishing and develop skills and knowledge need by those students to be successful anglers. The humans vs. Zombies club is dedicated to the preservation, authenticity and quality of the game while ensuring the enforcement of all HVS rules and monitoring the safety of all HVZ participants to the nest of our abilities in addition to promoting and exemplifying the ideals and principles of the game.
