Commuter, transfer, and international students make up over 25% of GCU’s student population. The Commuter, Transfer, and International Students Committee offers a broad variety of programs to engage such students both inside and outside of the classroom. In collabortion with the Canyon Activity Board, the Commuter, Transfer, and International Students Committee takes great pride in their ability to make GCU an environment of unified diversity.

The Spiritual Affairs Committee interacts with Spiritual Life and clubs to collaborate and brainstorm student ideas for campus.

The mission of the Campus Life Committee is to enhance the intellectual, cultural, and social aspects of GCU. This committee is dedicated to promoting and enhancing the University experience for every kind of student. The Campus Life Committee is responsible for food venues, campus beautification, school spirit, and residence life.

GCU is proud of the safety and facilities provided to students. The Public Safety & Services Committee ensures the parking, shuttle service, and overall safety of GCU’s campus. This committee is in direct contact with the University Public Safety office in order to resolve any concerns that students may have.

The Campus Engagement Committee supports students at GCU with a student-centered approach to higher education. Through communication vehicles, signage, and social media efforts, this committee promotes the success and participation of various programs across GCU. This committee is also responsible for giving input for ASGCU news.

GCU believes and understands the importance of being a good steward of what God has given us; including where we live. The Sustainability Committee focusses on communicating and raising awareness of sustainability effort on and off campus. This committee, in collaboration with environmental clubs and sustainability director, effectively represents GCU’s values towards conservation.

The Student Health Committee works with health clubs and student health director in order to ensure the overall physical and mental wellbeing of all students. The committee employs vehicles for education to make sure all students understand and properly utilize the resources available to them.
